The second Women as Global Leaders Conference, organized by Zayed university, was held 12-14 March 2006 in Abu Dhabi. 

Held under the Patronage of H.H. Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak, President of the UAE Women's Union, the conference attracted more than 1200 delegates from 87 countries.

The 3rd Women as Global Leaders Conference will be held in Dubai in 2008.
