Introduction

King Sejong Institute Dubai (KSID)

King Sejong Institute Dubai (KSID) was established in August 2019 and has been spreading the Korean language and culture through cooperation with Zayed University and Consulate-General of the Republic of Korea in Dubai. Prior to the establishment of KSID, there were strong demands for the Korean language in Dubai and there were many students with passion in the Korean language and culture during the Korean Language Class operated by the UAE Korean Association in 2018. Consequently, this became the basis for the establishment of the King Sejong Institute Dubai. Now, it has been 5 years since the KSID(King Sejong Institute Dubai) successfully completed pilot operation during the second half of 2019. KSID aims to provide opportunities for students to experience Korean culture through various cultural events as well as Korean language classes. In addition, KSID is trying to provide scholarship programs to the students with excellent language skills in the UAE to help them achieve their dreams.
