In line with the wise words of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may his soul rest in peace, and in an attempt to provide you with the best and most advanced services, we are happy to announce that Zayed University is launching a new initiative which will serve as a direct communication channel between the University's students, faculty, staff and administration. This initiative consists of an electronic system that is designed to receive suggestions and complaints which aims to help us progress in our work while taking into consideration the perceptions of students, faculty, and staff alike, in order for us to better interact with them, and better understand their opinions by allowing them to share their ideas and suggestions in regards to developing and enhancing work standards, and thus improving  the level of services provided.

Therefore and in order to encourage the spirit of collaboration, we would like to invite you to take part in the contest of choosing a name for the e-suggestions system. The suggested name should be short,  in Arabic but easy to pronounce and write for non-Arabic speakers. Each participant can only submit one name.

If in case two or more people submitted the same name, and that name is the selected winning name, the winner will be awarded to the one who submitted that name first. The winner will be selected by several University administrators  and will receive a valuable award. The deadline for recieving submissions is Wednesday, 2 October 2013 at 5:00 PM.

Update:

The e-Suggestions contest closed on Wednesday 2nd of October at 5 pm, with a total of 387 participations from (280) Zayed University students and (107) Zayed University faculty and staff members. 229 suggested names were unrepeated.

 The lucky name was chosen based on it being a short Arabic name, and easy to pronounce for non – Arabic speakers.

“Sahim” (Arabic for "Participate") is the official name of the e-Suggestions system, and the lucky winner is Mrs. Huda Shalabi from the Institute for Arabic Language.
