How to become a member of the Student Council


Eligibility Requirements:

  1. Be an actively enrolled undergraduate student at ZU.

  2. Be at least 18 years old.

  3. Maintain a minimum CGPA of 2.8.

  4. Have no attendance or disciplinary issues.

  5. Have no felony or dishonesty-related convictions.

Selection Process:

The ZU Student Council consists of 15 members chosen through elections and appointments. The students can nominate themselves, or the nomination can be from staff and faculty members. The members elected by Student Affairs representatives.

Once formed, the President and Vice-President are elected by a majority vote among council members during their first official meeting. This leadership structure ensures balanced representation and effective governance within the council.
