The annual conference, which held its first meeting for two days under the title, “Zayed’s Legacy”, aims to serve as a platform for practitioners, administrators and academics in the field of education to share, collaborate and explore innovative approaches to creating successful teaching and learning environments for students.

H.E Sheikha Lubna bint Khalid Al Qasimi, President of Zayed University, inaugurated the event alongside H.E Hussain Ibrahim Al Hammadi Minister of Education, and Her Excellency Jameela Al Muhairi Minister of State for Public Education the First Annual Education Conference.

The event was attended by Her Excellency Dr. Karima Matar Al Mazrouei, Acting Executive Director of the School Education Sector at ADEC, Her Excellency Rabaa Al-Sumaiti, Assistant Undersecretary for the Performance Improvement Sector, His Excellency Dr. Deham Al Ani representing His Highness Prince Turki bin Saud, President of King Abdul-Aziz City for Science & Technology, Prof. Henri Awit, Director General – Arab Thought Foundation, Dr. Rana Tamim, Dean of the College of Education – Zayed University, Dr. Hanada Taha, Endowed Professor of Arabic Language at Zayed University and Director of Arabi21 Project.
