H.E. Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahayan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and President of Zayed University, welcomes you to the Women as Global Leaders Conference 2008.

Now in its third year, this international student conference has been organized by the University to build bridges that unite female students from around the world. H.E. Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahayan will open the conference on March 10, when he will invite participants to meet with internationally renowned women leaders, share ideas, and engage in debate on 'Learning Leadership'.

The Women as Global Leaders conference focuses on women's emergent and current leadership roles across the globe as well as the practice of educating students for and about leadership. Primarily a student leadership conference, Women as Global Leaders draws participants from over 85 countries and from all sectors including education, government, and nongovernmental organizations.
