Conference and Hotel Registration Steps

1. Register and pay the conference fee.

2. You will receive an e-mail confirmation notice confirming your registration.

3. Register for your hotel accomodation. Fax or e-mail the completed form for your selected hotel back to Maria Kennedy (maria.kennedy@zu.ac.ae), fax: 971-4-264-0961, who will book your room. Zayed University will book student accomodation according to availability.

4. You will receive an e-mail confirming your hotel booking.

5. Book your air travel on Emirates airline for special conference discounts or on the carrier of your choice.

6. If you need to apply for a visa in advance, make arrangements. Check your status here.

7. You will receive periodic e-mails keeping you in touch about what to expect as the conference date draws near.

8. Touch down and experience the conference opportunity of a lifetime!

Fees

Full Conference Attendees (students and non-students) pay a subsidized registration fee of only US $200.   This include the full three days' conference activities, lunch on each of the three days, a Gala Dinner, Desert Safari/Barbecue Evening, full conference pack and local transportation between the conference venue and University-arranged hotels. For students not resident in the UAE, hotel accommodation (on a double occupancy basis) will be provided free of charge for four nights from March 13th - 16th at selected hotels.  All other attendees and spouses can avail of discount conference rate accommodation at selected hotels.

For spouses of conference attendees, there is a special package available. It costs US$150 and includes the Gala Dinner and Desert Safari/Barbecue Evening and discount conference rate accommodation at selected hotels.

Cancellation and Substitution Policy

Registrations canceled in writing prior to February 22nd will be subject to a refund of half of the registration fee. After February 22nd, no refunds will be made for cancellation.

Substitutions may be made at any time up to the start of the conference and substitute delegates are welcome to attend. Non-attendance will incur the full conference fee.

Hotels, Visas and Airfares

In addition to registering for the conference you will also need to book accommodation and check your visa status.

• We encourage delegates to shop around for the best flight deals to and from Dubai. Emirates airline offers special discounts of up to 50% off published rates for conference delegates. Special student/youth discount rates are available from such sites as StudentUniverse and STA Travel.
