Nathalie
Goulet was elected in September 2001 as substitute Senator for the Orme district
of Normandy, France. She has served on a variety of international missions in
the field of international cooperation in places such as Poland, Russia, Lithuania,
and the Arabian Gulf, as well as on special missions in the Balkan region to Croatia,
Montenegro, Kosovo and Macedonia. Ms. Goulet has also been an official observer
during parliamentary and presidential elections taking place in various member
countries of the Council of Europe. Ms. Goulet received her Master of Public Law
degree from the University of Paris, and worked from 1984 to 1998 as a lawyer.
Her practice focused primarily on international law, business law, and media law.
